Paper Wasp Nest!

Here’s another fan animation by me, again done purely for the amusement of myself and some friends. However, it also represents a lot more to me - testing my animation skills, my facial expressions and lip syncing, and also trying out a lineless coloring/drawing style. This was quite fun to make, but unfortunately I’d never be able to finish the entire song’s animation in just my free time. Knowing that, I took just one verse and worked it into a complete state. Enjoy it! Perhaps later on I’ll do a few more scenes!

For those interested this was produced entirely in Flash, with some character design studies and storyboarding done on paper first.

The audio is copyright A&M Records and Styx, while the characters are from video game studio Capcom. I claim no ownership of either, this was a not-for-profit work of love and parody (<-- An airtight legal defense if I ever saw one!)
